Broadband Report - Stats and stuff!
The
Office of National Statistics have redeemed themselves after my
recent post on their education productivity calculation. The recent
Internet 2007 Report summarises some fascinating trends, and shows an explosion of Internet use against a back-drop of a modest increase in take up of broadband over the past year. The South East (excluding London), has broadband figures of around 54%, up from 48%. Kent is likely to be higher than this average for the region due to the fact that it has invested considerable time and effort in promoting broadband and ensuring that exchanges are all enabled.
