I am sorry this is too late for  the classroom, but you can still enjoy this at home if you have Google Earth installed. (Google Earth is free)

You can track Santa with Google Earth.  First you need to have Google Earth installed on your computer. Then visit Google’s Santa Page, where you can download a Google Earth Placemark to track where Santa is leaving Gigantic presents each day until Christmas. The site has full instructions, with screenshots.

Enjoy!

We all learn in different ways and have our own strengths and weaknesses.

Do you find sports easy? Can you make things without reading the instructions? Do you need to 'play' with something for a while before you are comfortable using it?

It’s important that we know how we learn best so we can try and learn that way as often as possible!   Here is a website where you can find out what type of learner you are and/or you pupils.  After completing the questionaire ( 5 pages) you will be able to see your results in the form of a graph!

What are your top ICT tips?

My favourite are:

Using the  F11 key when viewing webpage on the interactive whiteboard. It throws back all the navigation buttons and address bar so that you maximise the view of the webpage.

Using the Print Screen key "PrtSc" on the top right of a keyboard. It captures the screen you are working on. Useful for capturing webpages or a document which has fozen.

How to use the Print Screen key "PrtSc"
Press the key and then go into your IWB software, Textease, Word, PowerPoint ... and click Paste to drop the screen captured image.
