DigIT - ICT/History project update

"Dig IT is an exciting opportunity for Key Stage 2 pupils to investigate and write about the people and events associated with some of Kent's most famous historical sites."
The DigIT website was launched on March 14th 2009. www.segfl.org.uk/microsites2/digIT
The probable dates for the Activity Day at each site are listed below. Schools on the project will receive an e-mail before April 3rd to confirm these arrangements
20th May 2009 Richborough Castle Theme: “Invaders at Dawn
5th June 2009 Lullingstone Castle Theme: “A death at the Villa”
8th June 2009 Bayham Abbey Theme: “The case of the missing relic”
ICT Training Dates
To enable teachers and schools to use ICT to support the project we are organising training sessions for each of the groups in Term 5. Each session will last approximately 2 hours. The use of ICT is an important element of this project. Please ensure you are able to attend one of the sessions.
21st April Richborough Project Group Newland Primary 2.30 – 4.30 p.m
24th April Richborough Project Group Holy Trinity Primary 1.30 p.m onwards
27th April Bayham Project Group East Peckham Primary 1.30 p.m onwards
5th May Lullingstone Project Group Brent Primary 2.30 p.m onwards
