What is the La Mantra Talking Pen?

The Talking Pen is an mp3 player that can store and play audio files. It has a tip that can read tiny microdots impregnated into paper. Books and charts can be prepared that deliver audio content to the user via ‘hotspots’ on the printed surface.

Frequently in schools these pens are used to support EAL pupils. Many members of the Kent MCAS Team (Minority Communities Achievement Team) now have and use these pens in schools to develop pupils speaking and reading skills. For more information about the pen click here

or visit The Mantra Lingua web-site
