www.heritageexplorer.org.uk
Heritage Explorer is an image-based resource for teaching history, citizenship and many more subjects. Teachers can access classroom-ready materials at the click of a button. Choose from over 360,000 pictures, including historic views of daily life, aerial photography, and modern shots of listed buildings. Images are accompanied by accessible information and a range of teaching ideas.
A range of case studies and 'How to' guides provide useful information on how to get the most out of Heritage Explorer and tailor the resources to suit specific teaching and learning needs.
All of the images are copyright cleared and free to use for educational purposes. They can be copied or saved. For further information please see Terms and Conditions.
Why not search images by theme or take a look at the ready made interactive whiteboard resources.
