Some courses coming up promoted by the SLC (SE)

The Recipe for Sustainable Science: An Introduction to Green Chemistry on 6th November 2007 at the Folkestone Academy.  This is a course that John Coad has brought back from the US and is based on the 12 principles of Green Chemistry.  John has someone coming over from the Keystone Center, so I would really like to make this run.  We are offering a £100 Science Learning Centre South East bursary to the first 10 applications received for the course.

RSC Chemistry for Non-Specialists at Key Stage 4 on 14th/15th November, 26th March and 18th June at Highsted Grammar School.  This high-quality RSC course is extremely good value at £120 for four days (it is sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline) and we have had excellent feedback. The course is running around the country, but this is the first offer in Kent.
