Follow up to Thanet Science Conference

Following the successful Conference showcasing how diferent schools are enriching their science offer via the curriculum and enrichment yesterday, here are some promised follow ups. I have tried to shrink and post the power point presentations. However, I cannot do this! If you are really desperate for copies, please phone me and we'll arrange something for you. 01732 876620

Becky Parker also agreed that I could share her contact details. She will help you where she can. becky@beckyparker.co.uk

RSPCA Advisors - a resource soon to be lost!

I have heard from Rebecca Metcalfe that the local RSPCA Advisors will no longer be in post after December 09. She wrote  ..." I regret to tell you that, due to the current financial situation, there will only be one more term of RSPCA Education Advisers working in schools.   After Christmas there will be a limited availability for INSET and ITT (with eight people covering the needs of England and Wales). The website will continue to provide free resources for schools, but there will no longer be people supporting teachers in the use of these resources.I am still available to provide workshops at conferences for the autumn term."

If you want to try to book some support I suggest you move quickly!
