When I was at Rare Breeds last week Ann was showing me the "flower" she had made to attract the butterflies to the fructose. Have you started using it yet or are the butterflies getting all the food they need from the flowers?

I recently saw pictures of a butterfly with transparent wings on the internet.  It was breathtaking.  Could it be the real deal or is it a photo fix.  It did look real.

I have recently become madly in love with butterflies and want to know more about the different species. I am currently enamored by the pipevine swallowtail butterfly and doing a large art piece of one.

Beautiful picture julie.
